Project Overview

This project involved the design and execution of two large-scale relief murals, conceived as a visual and narrative tribute to the life, vision, and legacy of Shri O.P. Jindal Ji. The client’s brief emphasized material richness, historical depth, and strong visual storytelling within a limited timeframe.

Each mural measured 23 × 9 ft and was developed using a combination of Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Cast Iron, and Bronze, carefully selected to achieve durability, texture, and visual hierarchy.

Scope of Work
  • Concept development & visual research

  • Historical study of the life and work of Shri O.P. Jindal Ji

  • Design composition & relief planning

  • Metal casting, etching, and surface treatments

  • Fabrication, finishing, and final execution

Mural 1 – Concept & Challenges

The first mural focused on key milestones and defining moments from the life of Shri O.P. Jindal Ji. These events were researched, interpreted visually, and composed into a single cohesive relief narrative.

Key Challenges:

  • Extremely short design and execution timeline

  • Rapid research and visual translation of historical events

  • Iron and bronze casting under tight production schedules

  • Maintaining narrative clarity within a single unified composition

Mural 2 – Concept & Challenges

The second mural was conceived as a more text-driven and sculptural narrative. It features a full-figure high relief sculpture of Shri O.P. Jindal Ji at the center, surrounded by etched text that encapsulates his entire journey and philosophy.

Key Challenges:

  • Condensing a vast life story into concise, impactful text

  • Precision bronze casting, stainless steel etching, and PVD coating

  • Balancing text density with sculptural prominence

  • Executing complex techniques within a limited timeframe

Result

The project was successfully delivered within two months, demonstrating large-scale coordination, technical expertise, and strong narrative execution.

The murals now stand as permanent installations, reflecting both artistic depth and material excellence, while honoring the legacy of Shri O.P. Jindal Ji in a meaningful and enduring form.
